Theatre Five-One was created to keep the memory of Erin Dinklenburg alive after passing away in 2015. She loved the theatre but, due to being confined in a wheelchair, was not given as many opportunities.
Theatre Five-One would like to change that. No matter your ability, no matter what experience you have. If you love it, or just want to give it a try, then we want to be the theatre for you.
We offer educational workshops, improv shows, poetry slams and theatrical performances suited for all ranges of audiences.
We opened our doors in December, 2018, with two improvisation shows, but our first official production was on May 1, 2019.
The theatre is named for this day, as it is Erin's birthday; so, appropriately, we chose to showcase an original story written for, about and dedicated to Erin: "Princess Erin & The Sphere of Fear".
Because of the pandemic, we had to go dark for a while. But, we are back, and in rehearsals for our final show of Season 3!
Theatre Five-One relies on donations to help make dreams come true. If you would like to donate, please check out our Donations page here on the website, or the link at the bottom of this page.
